Situated at an altitude of 700 m in a small valley, in Saint Amarin, below the Vosges crests and the Grand Ballon, the Auberge du Mehrbachel will charm you with its green setting.

For 5 generations, the Kornacker family has welcomed you in the same spirit: discover the richness of their cuisine and the warm atmosphere of the Auberge.

The hotel offers 19 quiet and comfortable rooms.
Most of them offer a breathtaking view of the Vosges mountains.
The wellness area offers a gentle invitation to calm and rest after a day of hiking or working.

Located in the middle of nature, in the middle of animals, the Auberge is a human-sized establishment integrated into its environment and away from mass tourism.

The Ballons des Vosges

The Kornacker family will advise you on how to discover the hiking trails accessible on foot or by mountain bike from the Auberge.
You can reach the Markstein on the Route des Crêtes or the Grand Ballon via the GR5.

Gastronomy

After a long day of hiking or working, the chef's good "home-made" dishes will whet your appetite and help you discover the regional cuisine: sauerkraut with filling or baeckeoffe...

Products from the farm

The chef's table is supplied by the family farm, located a stone's throw from the Auberge: dairy products (cheeses, milk, yoghurts, etc.).

Member of the association Hôtel au Naturel, the Kornacker family is committed to an environmental approach through various actions:

• Waste sorting,
• Installation of low-energy light bulbs,
• Use of local and, if possible, sustainable or organic products in the kitchen,
• Installation of our spring water, some rooms are equipped with vacuum toilets to reduce consumption,
• Installation of charging stations for electric vehicles,
• Reduction of packaging.
